Where it all began

Healthy Positive Choices was founded in 2007 with a simple but powerful belief: that education is the most effective tool we have to prevent domestic violence. We started with a single workshop and a commitment to showing up for our community — and we haven't stopped since.
For over 19 years, we have partnered with schools, faith organizations, workplaces, and community groups across the region to deliver programs that reach people before crisis strikes. Our approach is preventive, not reactive — because we believe every person deserves to know what a healthy relationship looks like before they ever find themselves in an unhealthy one.
